Camilla Anderson // Brand & Marketing Manager
Camilla has served as Practice Manager of Park Vision for the last 7 years. Due to recent expansion and growth of the Practice Camilla has enthusiastically taken up the new role of Brand and Marketing Manager. As well as continuing to oversee the the day to day operations of Park Vision she is responsible for business growth, brand development and ensuring the Practice is always at the forefront of modern style and optical trends.
Her passion for personalised individual styling is still at the core of her role at Park Vision and she is always part of the frame selections with new companies so that during her private style consultations she knows exactly what frame shape and colour will enhance someone’s features to find their perfect look. Many of our regular patients simply say ‘Camilla will choose, she always knows what I look amazing in before I do’.
Over the years at Park Vision Camilla has spent time in London at exhibitions and frame design workshops with Tom Davies designing frames and understanding exactly what makes a frame sit well whilst incorporating the necessary style for a certain face shape and combining the latest trends. She has been to Paris and Berlin numerous times for frame shows to find new and undiscovered designers to bring to the UK to sit alongside established designers. She is also passionate about spending time with local style consultants, this knowledge and experience means that she always matches the perfect frame to not just a person’s face, but their lifestyle too.
As well as overseeing the design of all marketing material, Camilla also creates all of our our social media content at Park Vision and is the ‘eye on style’ for matching our frames to current colours, fashions and materials while keeping in touch and researching all the latest frame companies and what they bring to current optical trends.
On top of managing the Park Vision Instagram account, Camilla also has her own personal optical style account with a large following dedicated to frames, fashion and the new and upcoming looks she loves. @Camilla_eyewearstylist went from a hobby to an impressive style guru over night and by keeping up to date with all aspects of fashion, she frequently posts different outfits with the latest frame colours, shapes and styles.
Dawn Lewis // Dispensing Optician
Dawn is now in her second year as dispensing optician at Park Vision, having firmly made her mark with patients when choosing their next frames. She believes there is frame to suit every face and relishes the challenge of people who don’t like wearing spectacles. Having now been in optics for over 25 years she has seen eyewear fashion go full circle. It’s always exciting seeing the latest styles from lesser known suppliers as they always lead the way for the major brands.
As well as her qualification in dispensing optics, Dawn is also a trained personal stylist, and runs her own business “Sunday Styling”, involving personal shopping, wardrobe analysis and constructing outfits for clients. This goes hand in hand with helping Park Vision’s patients choose frames that are both fashion forward and suitable for the image and look that they want to achieve.
Dawn’s motto is “if you don’t try things on how will you know if it looks good” and she always encourages patients to step out of their comfort zones – and the results speak for themselves! We want our patients to be complimented on the frames they wear, which gives them confidence and also word of mouth recommendations for Park Vision, which is key for our success as a business.
Dawn closely follows the latest fashions coming from the catwalks. As the high street shops follow the latest designs and interpret them for their customers, so does optics. The latest styles usually follow the sunglass trends of the season and filter down to wearable designs for prescription eyeware.
Park Vision has embraced Dawn’s sassy style, technical know how and awareness of current and upcoming trends. As a fashion led boutique practice her input has been invaluable in keeping us ahead of the rest. Dawn’s “trend to watch” for this year is oversized acetate in geometric shapes.
Just don’t get her started on tank tops.
